The Journey Through Infrunami
Infrunami takes players on a nonstop obstacle course filled with fast-paced challenges. The character automatically moves forward, and the player's job is to time jumps, control flight paths, and adapt to different mechanics along the way.
Mastering Cube and Avoiding Obstacles
At the beginning of the level, the character appears as a blue cube moving across platforms. Spikes and gaps appear one after another, requiring players to watch the path and jump at the right moment.
Pay attention to the distance between the character and upcoming obstacles. Click the left mouse button to jump when needed, and avoid acting too early, as the character might land before clearing the spikes. When facing a series of consecutive spikes, memorize the distance between dangerous spots to time each jump more accurately.
Flying the Ship Through Dangerous Passages
After passing through a transformation portal, the character switches to Ship mode. The mechanics are completely different from ground jumping: players must control the character's height to avoid spiked pillars, spinning shurikens, and narrow passages.
Hold the left mouse button to move the Ship upward and release it to descend. Instead of holding the button continuously, use short adjustments to maintain a stable flight path. Flying too high can cause the character to hit overhead obstacles, while dropping too low can put obstacles in the way below.

Passing Dash Rings and Transformation Portals
In sections with Dash Rings, pay attention to when the character reaches the activation ring and the direction it takes afterward. A sequence of transformation portals can change the character's size or movement mechanics, making familiar actions less effective.
Focus on the next portal and the opening the character needs to pass through. When speed or movement direction changes, avoid holding the mouse button out of habit. Instead, watch how the character responds and adjust your inputs whenever necessary.
Handling Gravity Changes
Jump Rings and Gravity Portals introduce new challenges for the Cube. Jump Rings help trigger jumps when activated at the right moment, while Gravity Portals change the direction of gravity and affect how the character moves.
Identify the spikes and landing surfaces before activating a Jump Ring. When gravity changes, quickly adapt to the new movement direction to avoid collisions. If a section proves difficult, memorize the sequence of portals, Jump Rings, and obstacles to prepare for the next attempt.
Controlling Swing and Wave
In Swing mode, the character needs to change direction smoothly to pass large flowers and narrow gaps. Players must time mouse clicks and releases according to the movement path, avoiding situations where the character gets too close to an obstacle before changing direction.
In Wave mode, the character moves in a zigzag pattern. Hold the mouse button to move upward and release it to move downward. Short, controlled inputs help create a more precise path through narrow passages. Watch the route ahead and adjust early instead of waiting until the character is right next to an obstacle.
Infrunami's Graphics Style
Infrunami uses a simple geometric style, combining a soft pastel pink background with a standout blue cube. The contrast between these colors keeps the character easy to spot throughout the level, even when multiple obstacles appear on screen.
The environment looks as if it were sketched with a pencil. Outlines, geometric shapes, and obstacles create a hand-drawn appearance rather than a detailed 3D environment. This clean presentation helps players focus on the character's position and the gaps they need to cross.
Spikes, spinning spiked pillars, large flowers, and transformation portals also define Infrunami's visual identity. Their distinct shapes help players recognize dangers quickly. While the pink background creates a softer atmosphere, the obstacle layout maintains the tension expected from a precision-based platformer.

How to Control Infrunami
Infrunami features a simple control system centered on the mouse and a few keyboard shortcuts for desktop players.
Checkpoint System
Checkpoints help players practice specific sections of the level. Instead of starting over from the beginning after every failed attempt, players can use checkpoints to focus on improving a difficult section, depending on how the feature works in their version of the game.
To use checkpoints in versions that support keyboard controls:
- Press Z: Set a checkpoint at the current position.
- Press X: Remove the current checkpoint.
Checkpoints are especially useful before a complex sequence of obstacles or a section with changing movement mechanics. Players can repeat the part they need to practice, identify the cause of each failure, and adjust their inputs with every attempt. However, checkpoints do not remove obstacles or automatically clear difficult sections. Control skills still determine the outcome.
Who Is Infrunami For?
Infrunami is a great fit for fans of Geometry Dash and platformers that demand quick reflexes, route memorization, and precise controls. Players who are already comfortable timing jumps can get into the Cube sections more easily, while Ship, Swing, and Wave offer opportunities to develop a wider range of movement skills.
The game also suits players who enjoy replaying levels to improve their performance. Clearly laid-out sections make it easier to recognize mistakes, learn from each attempt, and gradually master difficult areas. However, beginners should take their time learning each mechanic instead of trying to clear the entire level right away.
